Who we are

We are a team of individuals, science communicators, and market developers operating at the international level with commercial, academic, and governmental organizations. Work closely with pharmacy, wellness, multiple store chains, and patient group associations and consult with major corporates in MENA, NA, and Europe. Some of our experts have delivered over 20% y-o-y growth for Europe’s leading provider of product development, technical, and information services. Developed and trained a national sales force for divisions of a $100m turnover business, winning 500+ new customers within 24 months.

Africa emits more than 1.2 billion metric tons of CO2 annually, translating to about 3.3 million metric tons of CO2 daily. The figure represents the total CO2 emissions from various sources, including the burning of fossil fuels, energy production, transportation, agriculture, cement production, and industrial processes. This region contributes a relatively small percentage to global emissions compared to larger economies. However, the impact of climate change on Africa is profound, with increased frequency of extreme weather events and other climate-related challenges.

Many communities are facing an environmental catastrophe. About 100 million liters of oil are spilled every year across Africa.

Air, land, and water have all been contaminated, with devastating effects on residents’ health and livelihoods. Vast areas of the continents' waterways and mangrove swamps – one of the most diverse ecosystems in Africa – have been destroyed or put at risk. Farmland has been cloaked in oil, contaminating crops and exposing people to high levels of heavy metals such as chromium, lead, and mercury. Rootsandcarbon is restoring these ecosystems with a community-led active approach; leaving it to nature hasn’t worked, nature requires a helping hand, which we have offered by partnering with the local community to actively nature reverse human actions and intervene to restore ecosystems
